UPDATE: Well, we are still on page 3, not surprisingly as none of us are actively trying to win, so I am going to pass some love to a friend who has the best chance at holding #1.

I doubt the engines will view a community effort as spamming. I could be wrong, but I have yet to see any contest efforts failing for that in the past.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but isn't Google Bombing primarily used to rank someone elses site and not your own?

This is just SEOing, not spamming and not Google Bombing which is a daft term, banged three blog wide links to it including a PR4 blog UKseodirectory.wordpress.com and a few on another site.

now if i were sneaky i would paste all this inot my own dave patsternack site sub domained off an old site :mrgreen: with many links :wink: but i still think its spamming and this site wil get a small blipp from it? well probably not :D

its been pointed out that the forum ranks for 'booze isle at tesco' because of my location setting (also ranks for 'booze isle, tesco booze isle) i'm changing it to Dave Pasternack...just to see what happens :) (and a slight tweak to my siggy)
