 Should I optimize website for IE7? or is it the same as IE6?

Post Should I optimize website for IE7? or is it the same as IE6?
I installed IE and now can't install IE6 anymore (to have them both)

I was wondering if everything is the same in terms of normal viewing (like tables and such)

I'm not sure you can run IE6 and IE7 on the same computer.. Too many core components that can't be shared..

If that is the case then you may have to go to one of the sites which will show you how your page looks in a selection of browsers. A google search will find these sites for you.
