Use Google video links to improve SEO.
The process is easy and it is free.
Remember to synchronize the title of your video with the landing page key phrase anchor text.
Create deep links by including links back to your page.

Does that link count as a back link? Has anyone donr a back link analysis to show this? If I look more closer the url it has tracking so I dont think this would not count!?

Good point, most SE's don't count dynamic URLs. Has anyone seen any conclusive results from this video strategy?

Hmmmmm... many SEs do count dynamic links if they are structured properly including Google, Yahoo and MSN which is over 90% of all search traffic.
The problem is not using only simple links but making sure that your dynamic links conform to what the search engines will spider and index.

Search engines spider most dynamic URL's. We are on about redirects? Links like this:
http://www.yahoo.com/tracker?=0349359454623&URL=http://www.yourdomain.com/
...these dont seem to count as an back links using "link:" unless some one can show us an example.

 SEO for Videos
We create for videos SML files, or add alternative text.
Check sample features here: <snip>please read our rules</snip>
moderator: Were you really resurrecting an almost 12 month old post just to drop a link? ;)

Dear mod, I did not understand what I did wrong here. I have no affiliation to that web site or its owner, if you mean something like I am promoting myself or my business.
Anyway....

I didn't edit it, but my guess is the "we create" part of your post makes it look like "you" are doing this..

I'm not sure that there was a misunderstanding at all.. You posted exactly the same thing at WPW.. So it's pretty easy to assume that you are ressurecting year old threads to spam your service..

Thanks for the compliment. I am a member of some many forums since years, but I cannot remember if I have ever been told that I am a spammer. I am also a mod in several forums myself. I have been a mod at WPW for 4 years too. But I guess you know that already.
And I did not have any intention to resurrect any old thread or so ever. Kgun posted recently the link to this thread at WebProWorld, and I did not notice that it was old.
And you can be very sure that I have no need to spam forums or otherwise to promote my business. I honestly feel offended.
After all I understand that I am not welcome in your forums here, so I will not disturb you with my presence again. I would appreciate if the admins would delete my membership including my as you call spammy or self promotion posts.
Thanks in advance.

That is very necessary. I feel seriously offended and I have the feeling that the intention of the above post was too harm my reputation.

Apparently the KGun effect is spreading..
As a mod I'm sure that if someone with less than 20 posts went to a thread that was a year old and posted what you posted you would react exactly the same way..
You say that you have no need to spam forums to promote your business.. Yet that is exactly what you did.. You didn't contribute to the conversation.. You didn't offer any new advice.. You simply made a "look at me" post in a year old thread..
You are being held to exactly the same standard everyone else here is held to.. You are welcome to stay and participate, or not.. Entirely your choice..

I think that is the underlying factor here. You are not being treated special or unfairly over anyone else. Yes, you are known in the industry, but not by everyone and so you must be kept to those same standards.
There really is no need to get bent out of shape for anything like this or leave as you are not being asked to leave or treated in a personally insulting manner. Just following the rules/TOS.

Even if I was known by everyone in the industry, I would not expect a special treatment. That is a fact! Posting on a board that is accessible to the public that I am a spammer, I consider that as an insulting manner. Such things can be settled sending the member who possibly violates the rules/TOS a PM. Sorry.

I added a link/tutorial to SMIL techniques that I never has seen being mentioned here or elsewhere. And that link was to a site I have absolutely no affiliation. I am sorry that I was not aware that the members here are already aware about the SMIL technology. And about the old thread I mentioned above how it happen. If you have doubts, I can search and find that recent thread at WPW and post it here. Feydakin wrote: You are being held to exactly the same standard everyone else here is held to.. I never expected a special treatment here or elsewhere. I just expect some respect. That is all.
Anyway. I wish you all best luck and success.

It’s a shame that this took a bad turn, Webnauts is a decent resource for web accessibility testing.

Just to make things more clear here, check out the thread at WebProWorld dated on the 9th of August 2007 03:39 PM, where Kgun linked to this thread:
http://www.webproworld.com/search-engin ... ision.html
I know that whatever I will say will not change anything for the forums staff, but I guess members reading this will think twice about this issue.
Once again, and I hope for the last time here, I wish you all good luck.
